The District receives surface water from the New Melones Unit of the Central Valley Project. Allocations are made annually to the District by the Bureau. District delivery is made available to in-District farmers through our internal distribution system. Users of surface water must file an information sheet with the District office before the beginning of the delivery season. Deliveries are made from April 15 through October 15 of each year. All operators must contact and order water delivery through the District, 72 hours prior to diversion by the operator. The price of surface water is set annually by the Board of Directors. Surface water delivery is only available in areas near the District internal distribution system. Please reference the Facilities Map under the about us tab.
